Tailor-made Tour

Travel Iran, shaped by your pace, your interests, and your budget

A tailor-made tour is exactly what it sounds like: a trip built from the ground up around what you actually want, rather than a fixed itinerary you have to fit yourself into. Every part of it — where you go, how you get there, where you stay, how fast or slow you move, and what you spend your afternoons doing — is shaped around your own interests, not a template.
At 1001 Gasht Pasargad, designing personalized tours is one of the things we do most. Since 2005, we've built custom itineraries for hundreds of travelers, both Iranian and international — family trips, honeymoons, business travel, groups of friends, and solo travelers who wanted a trip built just for them.

What Does a Tailor-Made Tour Actually Mean?

When we say “tailor-made,” we don't just mean a smaller group or a private car. A genuinely customized Iran tour means:

  • You choose the destinations — not a fixed list handed to you by an agency
  • We build the schedule around your calendar and your time off, not the other way around
  • You decide on the style of hotel and accommodation that suits you
  • You set the pace — slow and reflective, or full and adventurous
  • Your specific interests — shopping, ancient history, city life, or anything else — shape the itinerary in detail
  • You travel with a guide chosen to match your language, interests, and needs

In short: the trip revolves around you. You don't have to revolve around the trip.

Why Choose a Private Tour Over a Group Tour?

Group tours have real advantages: lower prices, meeting fellow travelers, an itinerary that's already sorted for you. But for a lot of travelers, that's simply not enough.

If any of the following sounds like you, a tailor-made tour is probably the better fit:

  • You want to spend more time in specific places that standard tours tend to rush through
  • You're traveling with family, a partner, or a close group of friends, and would rather not coordinate around strangers
  • You have a specific interest — architecture, photography, food, nature, music, handicrafts — and want the trip built around it
  • Your travel dates aren't flexible, and a fixed group departure won't work for you
  • Privacy, comfort, and a slower pace genuinely matter to you

How We Design a Tailor-Made Tour at 1001 Gasht Pasargad

Building a custom itinerary is a conversation, not a form you fill in and forget about. Here's what the process looks like, from your first message to the day you fly home.

1. Initial Consultation

You talk with one of our specialists — by phone, online, or in person. We ask where you want to go, how many people are traveling, when, and what matters most to you: what you're hoping to experience, and just as importantly, what you'd rather skip.

2. First Draft Itinerary

Based on that conversation, our team puts together a full draft itinerary — the route, the stops, the hotels, the guides, and a day-by-day plan — and sends it over for you to look through.

3. Review and Adjustments

Nothing is fixed at this stage. Add a destination, cut something out, change the type of accommodation, or ask for a more specialized experience. We go back and forth until you're genuinely happy with the plan.

4. Final Confirmation and Booking

Once the itinerary is confirmed, we handle the hotel bookings, guide coordination, transfers, and every other moving part, then send you full confirmation of everything.

5. Support While You Travel

Our support team stays reachable throughout your trip. If plans need to change, a question comes up, or you decide to add something new, you just call.

What Can You Actually Ask For?

Almost anything connected to travel can become part of a tailor-made itinerary. A few requests we hear often:

  • Staying in historic houses and boutique hotels instead of standard business hotels
  • Meeting local artisans — carpet weavers, potters, miniature painters
  • A night in the desert, sleeping under a genuinely dark, star-filled sky
  • Visiting lesser-known villages, well off the usual tourist route
  • Traveling between cities by train or another distinctive mode of transport, instead of a domestic flight
  • Sharing a meal in an Iranian family's home
  • Timing the trip around a cultural event — Nowruz, a local festival, an exhibition

Let's Design Your Tailor-Made Tour

If you have a trip in mind, even a rough, half-formed idea, tell us about it. You don't need a finished plan. Knowing where you'd like to go, or simply how you want the trip to feel, is enough to start — working out the rest is what we do.

Our team at 1001 Gasht Pasargad is ready to build a personalized, one-of-a-kind Iran tour for you: a trip that actually fits you, not a version of someone else's.
